Wine Tasting Centre at Rickety Bridge
The Wine Tasting Centre, situated adjacent to the wine cellar, provides a fascinating glimpse into the inner workings of a functional winery. Positioned on an elevated platform, it features a three-sided, full-height glazed façade that offers stunning views of the vineyards and the majestic Franschhoek mountains. The tasting centre seamlessly extends into the maturation cellar and onto floating terraces through glass walls.
On warm, sunny days, wine enthusiasts can taste Rickety Bridge wines on the terraces surrounded by beautiful vines. During cooler weather, guests can gather around the wood-burning fireplace and enjoy Rickety Bridge's fine wines while enjoying the warmth. Rickety Bridge can also arrange wine tastings for parties of up to 80 people by prior arrangements.

This interactive wine blending session is aimed at both wine novices and enthusiasts alike. The Rickety Bridge team will provide everything you need and coach you in the process of making your own bottle of wine, along with a personalised wine label. Big groups can be accommodated, upon request.

Premium Wine Blending Experience
Guests get to take it to the next level, by making, bottling, corking and labelling their own red or white blend in a 1.5l magnum bottle. Followed by a delicious-tasting plate paired meal at Paulina's Restaurant. Lastly, they will receive a branded Rickety Bridge apron as a souvenir.

Sabrage Experience
Attempt the ancient art of Sabrage with the assistance of your ambassador. The experience includes the sabrage of a bottle of Cap Classique and a glass of Brut Rosé to celebrate.

Potjie-kos Experience
Make your own potjie at Rickety Bridge alongside your friends & family. The Rickety Bridge team will prepare a selection of traditional potjie ingredients including a variety of meat, chicken, fish, fresh vegetables, spices and sauces and supply you with all the necessary equipment. You will also be treated to a wine tasting by one of the Rickety Bridge wine ambassadors.
